The weather held for the final week of the Voucher Competitions which saw some good combinations but with the handicaps cut and some people giving away shots it was very hard to predict who would be entering the winners enclosure. Paddy Dennehy finally got there having tried hard since week one and been close on a few occasions but with Pat Conway determined to get a second and with her handicap cut back to her time playing for Cork her game was back to that standard and with 11 up both Paddy and herself took the overall nett.New Gents Captain John Dineen opened his first week in the captaincy taking the gross with Lily O’Leary with 6 up on the back nine.Next weekend sees the handicaps back to normal for the final of the Christmas Competitions with bottles up for grabs. Membership is now open for 2024!
