Wed 21st saw John Dineen back in the winners enclosure after a long sabbatical partnering Mick Healy to take the nett while P J Curtin and his buddy Noel Mac were the winners of the gross. Frank Riordan was on fire again on Saturday afternoon when he partnered Eileen Murphy and Josie Twomey in a three ball and took home the nett while P J Curtin was the gross winner with Betty White and Paddy Dennehy. Pat Conway was in great form over the weekend losing out on Sat having put in a sterling performance which she puts down to the new 8th iron but was let down by her playing partners but came back in style on Sunday to take the nett in the morning with Dan Shine and with Paddy Dennehy in the afternoon while P J was there for the gross with Bart Millard in the morning and the combo of Gretchen Ahern and Pat O’Keeffe took the gross in the afternoon. Mary O’Donovan back from Sunny Spain with a touch of sunstroke said she needed at least a week if not more to climatise to the cold weather but was hoping to be back in form by Paddy’s Day. Normal fourball over the coming weekend and New Members are very welcome.
