Despite the very cold weather over the weekend there was a large turnout on the Saturday which saw the team of Dave Linehan, Sheila O’Leary and John Dineen having to settle for 2nd Nett, beaten on the back 6 for both Nett and Gross with the Formable Team of Pat Conway, P J Curtin and Frank Riordan winning the Gross while both Pat Moore and Noel McCarthy were lucky to have Josie Twomey in their team as she set the standard with her dykes on the 10th & the 11th. Sunday morning saw the welcome return of Dan Shine who took home second nett with Pat Conway while Billy Fitton and Mick Lehane won the overall with a super score. Sheila O’Leary was blessed with the gift of John Dineen who was ensuring his place on the league team and they won the gross comfortably. Wednesday also saw John bagging the Nett with Noel McCarthy and John Curtin. Sunday afternoon was again kind to Billy Fitton who makes this game look so easy taking the gross with John Curtin while John O’Sullivan brought joy to Catherine O’Keeffe winning the Nett.
