Lakewood Pitch and Putt Club are open for Membership for 2017. As a Club we have a lot to offer in terms of leisure activities, four balls every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday except when there are competitions and even then as a Member you will be more than welcome to compete. We have a number of social occasions including prize nights, the Captains Night, our annual road-trip where we enjoy the facilities of another club for the day and usually a meal in the evening to finish off the occasion.
The Members are Friendly, the pitch and putt may be bad but the social side is worth the membership alone. Once you join and are registered you can play in any Club Open in the Country, any County or national competition. There is also ladies days hosted by the different clubs and for the gents there is a monthly over 55’s competition which attracts a large attendance.
There is a full bar on the complex which serve liquid refreshments at a very reasonable cost and there is a function room available to all of the Social Club Membership for special occasions.
Coaching is provided free of charge by the Club Coach, John Ahern and there is a voucher competition from October onwards until Christmas which gives everyone an opportunity to bag a “bird” for Christmas and maybe a bottle of the good stuff to wash it down.
There is an application form enclosed if we can tempt you to join and if you do please join us, no pressure –you may like to just potter around but we will be more than delighted to have you in our fourballs.
