The Cork Charity Scratch cup was held at Lakewood on Easter Monday.A big thank you to all the volunteers and players who helped make it a very successful event with nearly 150 cards being played.The course was an absolute credit and a pleasure to play on, well done to Mick,Pat,JP and Danny and everyone else who helped out during the week including all the women who provided refreshments on the day. However a special mention has to go out to both Valerie O’Leary & Pat Conway who finished in 1st & 2nd respectively in the Ladies category with Valerie shooting a magnificent 8 under in tough conditions to make the overall playoffs.
