Saturday saw a small crowd, partly due to the course closure during the week but the rain and cold was a big influencer resulting in the hardy and adventurous turning out while the rest of us stayed glued to the fire. For Paddy Dennehy and Alan Kenneally it was worthwhile as they bagged the gross with 5 under while Mary O’Donovan and Kevin Crowley took the nett with a score of 38 nett. Sunday the numbers picked up however Paddy Dennehy and Kevin Crowley were paired together and took the nett with 39 nett while Bart Millard and Rick O’Mahony were there for the gross with a magnificent 9 under. Normal Fourballs next weekend and the weather forecast predicts the return of high temperatures. Club Membership is open and New Members are most welcome.
