There was a mixed bag over the weekend between the weather and the winners which saw a balance in both. Saturday PJ Curtin was blessed to draw Betty White and Eileen Murphy which saw the trio take the overall nett in the three ball with a score of 88 while the gross went to Noel Mac, Mary Murphy and Pat Moore. Pat Moore was also blessed as he was seen wandering the course at times trying to get back to the greens from some dog legged angles. Sunday Morning Billy Fitton was seen practicing on the course which stood to his advantage as he took the gross with John Dineen on 6 under while the Course expert JP Murphy gave Paddy Dennehy a hand to take the nett on 5 under with a 39 nett. Sunday evening the Curtin Boys were drawn together for the first time this year and made use on Gentleman John’s handicap to take the nett with 40 while John Dineen made Catherine O’Keeffe smile when they were declared the nett winners.
