A weekend of change with the sun shining on Saturday and the winds blowing Sunday and also threatening rain. Also the drop in temperature from saturday to Sunday saw the fleeces and bodywarmers back on the course Sunday morning. Saturday again another 3 ball which saw Alison Harvey back on the course after a long sabbatical partnering Gretchen Ahern and Mary O’Donovan taking the nett with 84 while Betty White and Mick O’Leary helped Billy Fitton to take the gross with 6 undere. Sunday morning it was fun and games with balls flying all directions due to the heavy winds but that didn’t faze Val O’Leary who took the nett with Billy Fitton on 48 points while Tim Linehan and John Dineen were the gross winners with 39 points. Paddy Dennehy and Mary O’Donovan took second nett with 45 points on the back nine.
