For those of us who travelled to Inniscarra tonight for our annual visit it was interesting and very frustrating as the going was pretty hard. Fair dues to Neilius Daly and the ground committee the course is in great shape, the greens are standing up to the fine weather and if one could pitch the greens the ball is holding but for those of us who are having trouble finishing it can get into the head and be frustrating. saying that we had a great night and of course the 19th hole for the cuppa and the lovely goodies that keeps us all fine and slim is the best part of the night, meeting up with old acquaintances and some new ones, having the chat and rehashing our own game. Thanks to Inniscarra for the invite, looking forward to the return in August and especially to the wonderful cooks and chefs who baked all the lovely cakes it is very much appreciated and to us its a fitting end to our open week.
