Saturday the Lady Captain, Pat Conway arranged her end of year captaincy with a trip to the Killumney Inn for her Last Supper along with some Vino to wash it down. To work up an appetite some of the Ladies showed up for the 3pm fourball including Josie Twomey and Pat herself. Mark Spillane was there to guide them to the Winners enclosure for the nett prize taking the overall nett with a score of 83 Nett while John Healy, John Spillane and John Dineen took the Gross with 11 under. Sunday Morning saw a good turnout and some tired ladies but Catherine O’Keeffe was first into the winners enclosure with a score of 52 points along with Mark Spillane pipping hubby Pat on the back nine, however Pat and Michael Ryan with 10 under took the gross prize. Next weekend sees the start of the Christmas competitions with the hamper vouchers on the October weekend making an appearance The Club AGM will be held in the clubhouse on the 14th November and all Members are asked to attend. Membership for 2024 now available.
