Saturday a fabulous day to be on the course, The little bit of heat from the sun was enough to warm the body and make the game more enjoyable. Unfortunately the crows are playing havoc on the greens but hopefully the hollow -thinning will put a stop to their destruction. The Three ball received a very decent turnout considering the Ireland V Italy match. Pat Conway was back to her old self chipping in for two’s while Frank Riordan with 2 holes in one so far this month is back on his game. Not to be outdone Betty White was pitching greens and converting the ball which gave them a six under and a win for the overall nett with a score of 82. Rick O’Mahony after a run in with the nasty Covid was also back in form and along with Robert Spillane and Pat Moore took the gross with 10 under. Sunday morning saw Kevin Crowley back in the winners enclosure along with Tim Linehan who won the overall nett with 38 and a half pushing Gentleman John Curtin and Sheila O’Leary into second nett with John double putting the 12th being the difference.
