aturday saw the welcome return of Micky Ryan to both the course and the winners enclosure after his recent surgery. Prior to the fourball Alan Kenneally and Niall Enright were putting both Micky and Stephen Ross through their paces. There was a very good turnout for the fourball and considering the sharp dry day there were some excellent returns. There were a number of 6 and seven under but with ten under and a nett of 37.5 Billy Fitton and Alan Kenneally were the nett winners. Micky Ryan and Mary O’Donovan took second nett with 38.5 while Niall Enright and Pat Moore took the gross with 9 under. Sunday morning, sunny and dry saw another very good turnout and again some super scoring which saw Niall Enright and Deirdre O’Sullivan win the nett with a magnificent 53 points while Bart Millard took the gross ably assisted by Paddy Dennehy with 44 points gross, 8 under leaving PJ Curtin and Margaret Burke to take the second nett with 51 points while the rest went home with fresh air in their lungs .Gentleman John is busy planning some activities for the rest of the year to celebrate the Clubs 50th Anniversary Membership open for 2023, Forms available through the website or from the clubhouse and new Members are most welcome.
