Happy New Year wishing you peace and good health for 2023.
Fourballs were held every day over the Christmas period providing Members with an opportunity to work off the rich food, chocolates and the other nice things that we over indulge in at this time of year. However the main event was on New Years Eve which saw Pat Conway paired with Kevin Crowley taking the nett with a great score of 39.5 while Pat O’Keeffe was the gross winner with John Dineen. New Year’s Day a Large turnout braving the frosty conditions saw Noel McCarthy taking the Nett with Kevin Crowley on 52 points with John Ahern taking the gross with Rick O’Mahony with 5 gross while Valerie O’Leary had to settle for second nett with Paddy Dennehy for the First win of 2023.and the First Win for Lakewood’s Centenary Year.. A three ball was held in the afternoon which saw Billy Fitton leading Rick O’Mahony and John Ahern into the Winners Enclosure Normal Fourballs next weekend and all Members are invited to join in.
