Wednesday Night with the return of the cooler evenings there was a nice turnout for the midweek fourball. Stableford was the order of the day and with some very interestings combinations it was an equal opportunity to enter the winners enclosure.
The Murphy’s consisting of the course expert JP and the Club Elder Tim were pipped for second nett but with 3 under took the second gross while Kevin Crowley had the pleasure of playing with Gentleman John took the second nett with 50 points. Frank Riordan after his short sabbatical to the British Isles was in top form with 3 birdies on the trot on the front nine and two more on the back nine and withn his partner John Ahern adding one in the front and one in the back took the nett with 52 points. Valerie O’Leary was in superb form and with Pat Moore shooting three birdies each with a slight booboo on the 17th resulting in a stupid 5 but had enough done to finish 4 under and take the gross.
