Wednesday saw Pat Moore make atonement to Pat Conway for his amateurish play on Sunday with 6 birdies in a row on the back nine which saw them take the gross while he also helped Margaret Bowen take the nett with a nett of 37. Frank Riordan and John Ahern were the second nett winners with 40 nett. Saturday was like a walk in the park to Frank Riordan who along with Margaret Bowen and Ann O’Herlihy took the nett with a handicap of 32 coming off the gross while Bart Millard who was firing on all guns took the gross with Paddy Dennehy and Mary O’Donovan. Sunday morning there was a nice even number which resulted in another three ball competition with 2 scores to count which saw Dermot Murphy in the winners enclosure along with Mary O’ Donovan and Margaret Burke taking the nett with 81 while Paddy Dennehy and JP Murphy gave a hand to PJ Curtin to take the gross with 5 under. The Annual St Mary’s School Competition is altered slightly this year where the accumulated takings from the fourballs and the income from the green fees  over the long weekend will be donated to the School. Members usually put up the prizes for this competition as this allows for all the proceeds to be handed over to this worthy cause. Green Fees welcome and limited Membership is available
