Sunday night last Eileen Murphy and John Dineen were on fire with one dovetailing the other and took the nett with 9 under while Billy Fitton and Tim Murphy went home with the gross. Billy is playing hot and cold lately but when its put up to him he is well capable of delivering. Wednesday night a little birdie told john Curtin that rain was on the way so he didn’t show for the fourball but Frank Riordan and Sheila O’Leary had a magnificent card with 38 nett which secured them the overall nett while Darren O’Leary and Paddy Dennehy took the gross with 6 under beating Eileen Murphy and Pat Moore on the back nine.
