Saturday Catherine O’Keeffe and Pat Conway combined to take the nett with 50 points while PJ Curtin and JP Murphy were the gross winners. Sunday morning saw Val O’Leary in the winners enclosure with Josie Twomey with a magnificent 38 nett. Val was anchoring both Josie and Margaret Bowen but Josie’s save on the 13th was the decider. Frank Riordan and John Dineen took the gross with a very respectable 7 under. Sunday evening both the O’Leary’s were in the winnings, Val with PJ Curtin with 12 under and 35 nett took the nett while Mick took the gross with 7 under partnering John Ahern. Rumour has it that PJ is looking for a few shots back but Gentleman John is not willing to give him any of his. Afternoon Fourballs re moving to the winter slot of 3.00pm from Wednesday 18th until further notice. Normal fourballs next weekend.
