Margaret Bowen took the nett on Wednesday with Noel McCarthy putting in a fine performance to nett at 38 which was 2 shots clear of the finishing pack while Frank Riordan and Paddy Dennehy went home with the gross prize. Catherine O’Keeffe was s excited winning the nett with 4 under on Saturday with Josie Twomey went home without her clubs. However she came back on Sunday morning and took home the nett with Eileen Murphy. Eileen is making through with her commitment to winning the open that she hade five birdies and with Catherine’s 2 scored a very respectable 51 points. Paddy Dennehy took the gross with John Dineen with 5 under and again on Sunday Morning with Bart Millard scoring seven under. Paddy is the man to watch this week as his play has been raised to a higher level to reflect his cut for winning the Presidents Prize. Noel Mac was pleased to be drawn with Sheila O’Leary and took nett with a very decent score while PJ Curtin was in the winnings with Tim Murphy for the gross.
Please note no green fees while club competitions are taking place however the Club is always most welcoming of new members. Well done to the Ranges on Saturday , the course was in magnificent condition for the 3 ball scramble event held on the Saturday..
