Wednesday Valerie O’Leary and hubby Mick did 6 under to take the nett with 43 while Son Darren partnering Pat Conway won the gross with 51.Saturday Pat Moore was very lucky to draw George Bolton who was in magnificent form and they took the nett with a mighty score of 50 points while Noel Mac and Sheila O’Leary won the gross with 6 under leaving second nett to Josie Twomey and Catherine O;Keeffe who won it on the back nine. Sunday morning Frank Riordan was taking his Captain’s role very seriously as he carried out a thorough inspection of the course while partnering P J Curtin but he was still in the winners enclosure with 10 up to take the nett while the senior pairing of Gentleman John and Bart Millard took the gross with 5 under. J P Murphy and John Ahern won second nett with 9 up having 5 on the back nine.
Sunday evening Gretchen Ahern, Eileen Murphy and Pat O’Keeffe won the nett with 37.3 in a three ball scramble while the 3 Pats, Pat Conway, P J Curtin and Pat Moore won the gross with 9 under considering that all three missed a 2 foot putt on the 17th.
