Saturday saw Val O’Leary in great form taking the nett with Gentleman John Curtin while Rick O’Mahony took the gross with Pat Moore, Sunday morning Mr Bogey made an appearance and sorted out the good from the bad. Leading the good were the public sector duo Paddy Dennehy former ESB and Tim Linehan, CCC who won the nett with a very respectable 10 up while Mick O’Leary took the gross with Mick Lehane. Mick Lehane was complaining that the course was too easy with the resting of 5 & 6 but apparently the rest found it hard going. Gentleman John was missing as he was attending the Christening of the newest addition to the Curtin Clan, that of his great grandson. Sunday Nights 3 Ball with two scores to count saw Gretchen Ahern, Josie Twomey and Pat Moore take the nett with 77 while Rick O’Mahony, Billy Fitton and John Dineen were the gross winners with 94. Both Rick and Gretchen shared the prize for the designated hole in one competition for July as both had holed on the ninth on Sunday Night.
