Wednesday was a mix and match day where everyone played out the full hole and the draw for partners was made after the game. P J Curtin and Paddy Dennehy took the Nett with Pat Moore and Billy Fitton winning the Gross. Saturday saw P J and Billy back in the Winners enclosure for the Nett while Pat Moore was also back with Mick Lehane for the Gross. Sunday Morning the start was delayed to allow Jack Frost take his overnight sheen with him. JP Murphy was very lucky to draw Mary O’Donovan who arrived in style in her new 18C auto and take home the Nett while John Dineen and Pat Moore were the gross winners with John’s hole in one on the eight knocking P J Curtin and Frank Riordan out of contention on a very challenging course. Rick O’Mahony was on Fire Sunday Afternoon burning up the greens with Gretchen Ahern to take Nett while Billy Fitton found the going easy with Noel Mac shooting 9 birdies to take the Gross. However some of us found the going tough but the craic was mighty with JP discussing the current affairs on the Breakfast Show and Billy reviewing the current series of Delicious.
Membership is open and New Members are most welcome. Fourball’s at the usual time but note that the afternoon fourball’s will be reverting back to the 3pm slot from the start of Feb.
