The only bright spark of the weekend was a big Birthday for Club Member Sheila O’Leary which saw a large number of the Ladies in attendance. Congratulations to Sheila on her big Birthday and wishing her many more. Saturday being a mucky day and partly due to the early start to the Birthday Celebrations and the fact that the Gents were after visiting the Hairdressers to get themselves smartened up there was no play,. Sunday morning a small crowd including some of the late revellers which saw Alan Kenneally taking the podium after leading his team of OJ Curtin and Noel McCarthy into the winners enclosure for the Gross with 3 under while john Dineen leading his team of Kevin Crowley and Paddy Dennehy took the overall nett with 87.3.
