A large turnout on Saturday for the First of the Voucher Christmas Competitions which saw some excellent shooting and combined with the Sunday Morning and Afternoon Fourballs a total of fifty-seven played which allowed for a second nett. Frank Riordan and Gentleman John which a score of 35 nett had to settle for second nett as Micky Ryan and Helen O’Callaghan had a better back nine and took the overall. Pat Moore was very lucky to be drawn with PJ Curtin on Sunday morning as PJ was on fire, netting 7 birdies with 4 on the back six and they took the gross with 8 under bearing Colm Healy and Pat O’Keeffe on the back six. They were unfortunate as a number of chips and putts skimmed and pulled up short where on another day they would drop. The Club AGM will be held on Friday 11th Nov and all Members are asked to attend and support the Officers and Committee. Week 2 of the Christmas Competitions next weekend will feature Stableford
