P J Curtin is back in form this week winning the nett on Wed with Paddy Dennehy and also on Sunday Morning with Pat Moore despite the efforts of Billy Fitton who tried hard to badger him. Billy Fitton did well also this week winning the gross on Sunday Morning with the veteran Noel McCarthy and the Nett on Sunday afternoon with “Old” Moore after providing the sugar rush with a tin of Quality Street prior to the fourball while Gretchen Ahern took the gross with “Big John Dineen who was finding the hole from all angles. Noel McCarthy was in the winners enclosure on Wed with Mary O’Donovan for the gross. Saturday saw John Ahern with one of his best rounds this year winning the Nett in a Bogey Competition with Josie Twomey while Mick Lehane and Pat Moore went home with the gross. The designated hole for the hole in one is 18 and its a tempting target. Fourball continue next weekend and we are delighted to welcome some new members to the club.
