Wednesday Frank Riordan was blessed with the partnership of P J Curtin who made sure that he didn’t go home empty handed taking the Nett on the back 3 leaving the Gross to Mick Lehane and Paddy Dennehy.
Sunday morning brought out a good crowd, some were suffering withdrawal symptoms due to the long week and no fourball on Saturday. Dan Shine and Bart Millard were comfortable winners with 50 points while PJ Curtin was back with Mick Lehane for the gross due to good play from both players. Dare I say it the hated Bogey is now the fairest game especially for the average intermediate player.
Sunday afternoon Frank was back taking the Nett with Rick O’Mahony while John Dineen drew George Bolton and took the Gross with George’s putt on the 18th sending P J and Eileen Murphy home empty handed
