The Club hosted the Annual St Mary’s Competition which again was very successful and was well supported by the Club Members and Friends, Great Credit is due to Rene and Jim O’Shea who are the stalwarts behind this competition. Eileen Murphy, Vice Chair complimented the people who played and supported the competition and the grounds staff for the condition of the course which is in first class condition. Mary Conroy attended on behalf of St Mary’s and was presented with the proceeds of the competition which she said will be put to very good use. A large number of prizes were donated by Local Businesses and by Club Members and were distributed as follows to the winners of the single and fourball competitions.
